Product work across SaaS, insurtech, e-commerce and data intelligence, from sales floors in Bahrain to digital transformation at Allstate Canada, and now applied AI. The thread through all of it is the same: turning something complicated into something a team can actually operate.

I started in venue and travel sales in Bahrain, which is an unglamorous place to learn the most useful thing I know: that persuasion is mostly listening, and that a plan nobody can follow is not a plan. From there I moved into digital strategy for a GCC construction firm, then to Canada for postgraduate study at Sheridan and Seneca.
The Canadian half of my career has been product. Digital transformation at Allstate Canada, then e-commerce, then AI product work, which is where I have stayed. I have built AI-powered CRM tooling, retrieval systems, and the evaluation scaffolding that decides whether any of it is safe to put in front of a customer.
Somewhere in the middle of that I noticed I kept having the same conversation. A team would show me something impressive, and the impressive thing would be a demonstration, and nobody in the room could say how they would know if it were wrong. That conversation became a book.
Clarity beats cleverness. Most systems fail for boring reasons, and the boring reasons are the ones worth designing for. A model that is confidently wrong is more expensive than one that is obviously broken, because nothing catches it.
I build lean and ship early, but I do not confuse shipping with finishing. The part that takes the time is the part nobody demos.
I have lived in Bahrain, India and Canada, and travelled through Iceland, Japan, Australia and the UAE. I am a dog dad. I do not travel to escape so much as to get closer to what matters, which sounds like a line until you have stood somewhere quiet enough to test it.
Not linear, and better for it. Each of these taught something the next one needed.

Digital transformation at Allstate Canada, e-commerce, and applied AI systems. Writing and advisory alongside.
If you are putting an AI system in front of people who depend on it, the first conversation is free and usually short. I will tell you plainly if I am not the right person for it.
Applied AI and systems design. Writing and advisory on the distance between a demonstration and a system people depend on.
